Introduction: The WHO Health Emergency and Disaster Risk Management (H-EDRM) Research Network has identified that health data collection during emergencies disasters is a key element to enable proper coordination timely response, research priorities of the network. Method: Focus group discussion was performed identify challenges which hinder accomplishment collection. Results: It concluded issue faces significant including; (1) Access: Logistic issues including safety, transport communication did not allow experts such as epidemiologists access onsite relevant stakeholders. also challenging for local public stakeholders accept new emergencies. (2) Tools: forms or tools are concise operational be accepted by frontline responders should provided. (3) Standardization: set standard its mechanism essential collect data, otherwise collected will partial fragmented. (4) Governance: overall governance procedure ownership must clarified before implication administratively legally. These endorsed authorities. (5) Ethical procedure: Obtaining informed consent conducting procedures difficult. Contextually, in many cases inappropriate.
